No you can’t get a visa on a train. I suggest you call the Russian Embassy in Dublin and get the details – Russian visa is quite a complicated process.

Also, what are the chances you can spend an entire 6 months in the USA with your tourist visa without it being limited by the immigration officer? My girlfriend has her tourist visa and wants to buy her ticket to America but I want to see if she can spend longer if possible. We plan on her staying from February 24th to July 24th. I don’t know whether or not this counts as 6 months or less than that since its 154 days. Please only serious answers. Thank you.

the B-2 visa gives you 180 days not 6 months
never book the flight for more 177 days …(just in case)
From and including: Saturday, February 25, 2012
To and including: Tuesday, July 24, 2012
It is 151 days from the start date to the end date, end date included
Or 5 months including the end date

well the visa already states that you can stay for three months that means its a 90 day stay. just go and enjoy your stay here in the Philippines 
go to the Department of Foreign Affairs and tell them you want to extend

If you can trust my word and if you are in luck, you should try to ask this guy by the name Prateek in Varanasi. I had written to him after having read his blog, varanasiblogger dot com, and he graciously agreed. though he isn’t a regular tourist guide, he is more than that, a sort of amateur historian on varanasi. he is extremely passionate about the city. his knowledge of the place is encyclopaedic and our group from the university(Texas) was lucky to have him show us around. you can reach him through his blog or email him. mind you though he is pricey for a tour guide, twenty usd for a day.but i wouldn’t mind if i were you.

It’s usually around $ 100 per visit if you’re international. Some places could be more or less but that’s the normal going rate. Any forms, injections, notes, etc will also have a cost to them if needed.
