An orbital sunrise is featured in this image photographed by Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) astronaut Soichi Noguchi, Expedition 22 flight engineer, from a window in the newly-installed Cupola of the International Space Station while space shuttle Endeavour remains docked with the station. A Russian Progress spacecraft, docked to the Pirs Docking Compartment, is visible at right.

do not ask me why we thought leaping over the earth was a good idea but it sure made us laugh, and some customers too, in between checking out children’s books… lol

Yes, the cone hat is very practical but be aware that a lot sold are of the mini-souvenir variety and, since even a full sized hat would be out of proportion on the average tourist, these tiny ones can leave the wearer looking a rather silly.

gotta bust my big bottom down to school everyday for the past week or so to do an audit on our old 1983 sde building.
kinda sad that the architecture department of nus has the saddest looking school which reminds you of a factory building. those aluminum louvres are a great way to shut off the outsides. what sde needs is invitation, a nice spatial quality that brings you into the building. they should have used the slope to good use and clearly a better first floor interaction with the surrounding. life on ground floor is plainly inside and not so much on the outside.
