Midnite on the Beach

Our vacation this year took us quite a few places – it started in Cabo San Lucas, then off to a concert for labor day weekend in Central Washington, then 4000 miles to St. Lucia in the Carribean for a week, and then finally 4 days in Central Oregon.

Whew.

That’s why my photostream is all over the place. As I get to the pictures I upload what I like at the moment, which doesn’t seem to have any flow to it

Anyway, this is the beach hut I spent 5 days under while drinking local beer and lazing in the shade (when I wasn’t snorkling). I’m not sure what time it was, but it was definately after sunset with a full moon illuminating the beach – and that’s what made the lighting so nice for this image.

Our Disneyland Vacation from July 1970. I’m posing on Captain Hook’s Ship and sporting a Chicago Cubs hat. I have not yet found any photos of me in "Tomorrowland", which was the most awesome part of Disneyland back in those days.

Drinks of Cabo

On a recent vacation, I made it a point to document choice monments with Hipstamatic – in this case, celebrating with a beverage. We took off to Cabo San Lucas for a week, and while there I had the vision to capture occasions in Hipstamatic, then assemble in a collage frame when we got home. I picked one of these frames up at Michaels last week for , finally wrapped up the printing today, and am thrilled with the result.

Do note that we did many, many other things on this trip, and these are only 12 photos, and it’s important that adults who have made the informed decision to consume alcohol do so in a responsible manner. That said, this vision turned out fantastic, and I encourage you to do the same on own adventure, especially with Hipstamatic.
